Is it fun enough to play all day?
Apparently.

Bananagrams, you have stolen my heart.

Day 107: Check List

I love the lake.

A lake cabin has a feeling of pure happiness. The way it looks, smells, feels, and tastes. Shoot, I totally just lied to you. I have never tasted a lake cabin. And even if I had, i'm sure the taste would not fit this "pure happiness" theme I was going for. I digress...

Tubing is not just an activity. It's a way of life. And Amanda and I are livin' the dreeeeeam. Not only am I a survivor of a severe black eye due to tubing extremes from the summer of 2010, but I am "hardcore parcore" type of tuber. If it doesn't hurt, if it doesn't flip, i you don't have recoveries, if you're not with multiple tubes, if you don't wipeout something fierce... you're not tubing.

Mad air? Check.
Mad flipping, followed by mad recovery? Check.
Mad skills? Check, check, triple check.

Day 106: Lake Pond Or-Ay

Today Jackson and I take on the lake life.
To join our girlfriend/bestfriend.
I mean, wait...
to join the girl that... no...
to join...
Ugh.
TO JOIN AMANDA, WE'RE GOING TO AMANDA.

Braaaang it on, lake life.

Day 105: 1.My 2.D 3.A 4.Y

My day in 4 parts (Ya know, like really pretty choir songs...)

Part 1:

Babysitting the Hocking children! Love love, triple love.
Nathan went a little camera crazy...
"Look mad!"

"Tickle her!"

"Look silly!"

"Look weird!"

"Look happy!"

"Look sad!"
LOOK FLIPPIN' ADORABLE!
Just a few highlights, is all -
Josie: "I can jump higher than a kangaroo!"
Nathan: "...Josie, kangaroos can jump higher than houses."
Casey: "No they can't!"
Nathan: "Technically... yeah they can."

Nathan: "I would say that our new scooter goes 100mph."
Me: "Whoa! That's faster than the freeway!"
Nathan: "Oh, nevermind then..."

Part 2:

Matching tank-tops.
And no, they weren't seven.
With Maria and Austy! Luh dem.
And we saw a great trio! They matched and everything. How cool.

Part 3:

Boyfraan.
He is cool.
I quite enjoy his exsistance.
I also quite enjoy watching Friends.
And the fact that he puts up with me watching it.
And laughing hard at everything, even when it's not funny.
Because I have seen every episode ever made.
And I anticipate what is going to happen.
And it's funny.
So...
I laugh.

You're cool Tommy.

Part 4:

Din Din with Holly, Brian, Taylor, and Riley.
...catch the elephant in the room?
5TH WHEEEEEEL!
Well tonight, on the double date gone wrong, I was fifth wheelin' aaaaand good.
Tom, you couldn't just run home from the lake?!
However, if I had to 5th wheel with anyone, I would chose you folks!
LOVE YOU.

Whatagreat4partday.

Day 104: LOTR 4 LIFE

Lord of the Rings:
you are too good to me.

Sam would be such a good best friend.
Frodo is just annoying. (I mean, I know the ring is a burden, but do you have to be so whiny?)
Merry and Pippin are just too cool!
Gandalf, don't even get me started on how much I love you.
Gollum, do't even get me started on how much I hate you.

That was just a preview of the characters.
I heart LOTR.
For life.

Day 103: Crime for a Dime?

I love "I Survived..."
Maybe that is weird.
But boooooooy, do I love it.

Lots of people who watch creepy shows watch them in broad daylight.
On sunny days.
When you can hear birds chirping.
While drinking lemonade.
Wearing bright colors.

I watch it late at night.
With my front door open.
When everyone is sleeping.

Awww, yeah.

I heart real life crime shows.
A-get used ta itttt.

Day 102: Winnie the Pooh

Winnie the Pooh.
Winnie the Pooh.
Chubby little cubby all stuffed with fluff.
He's Winnie the Pooh.
Winnie the Pooh.
Willy nilly silly old bear.

My childhood was Winnie the Pooh.

It sprouted a love for stuffed animals.
A fear of dark wooded areas, and trees with faces.
Sympathy for poor little stuffed animals who lose their "taels".
A warm fuzzy feeling for "Hunny".
And lesson after lesson on how to be a good friend.

Thanks Pooh Bear.
You're a real gem.

LOVE THE MOVIE.

Who knew a bear could be so precious?

Day 101: HAT4LYFE

This is H.A.T
Holly, Ali, Taylor

This was our freshman pack.
We cried together.
Laughed together.
Talked about creepy boys together. (hahahah)
Walked in the halls together.
Picked out clothes together.
Took videos in Starbucks together.
Talked about mean boys together.
Wrote notes in lockers together.
Made each other feel better.
Held hands when one of us cried.
Took each other out of class when we went through breakups.
Stuck up for each other.
Went to Starbucks before school.

I luh dem.
Reunited with Tay Tay tonight, and it felt so goooooooood.
ba duh duh.

LOVE YOU BOTH SO MUUUUUCH.

Day 100: First step of recovery is admitting you have a problem.

100 days! WOO HOO!
....whoa, weird.
It's been 100 days?!

Okay... umm... okay...
This blog today is hard for me.
It's a confession blog.
Oh god...

I have a problem.
A.Real.Problem.
I am the single worst girl in all the world.
I am a lucky, grateful, thankful, awful girl.

....I own 24 dresses.

What?

...I own 24 dresses.

Wait, huh?

I OWN 24 DRESSES.

This is embarrassing, but legit.
Oh good god, I am such a dummy.

As you can tell, I feel ill from this. That is too many dresses. TOO MANY DRESSES.
So if you get dress-dropped (find a dress on your doorstep), you'll know where it came from.

My name is Alison Daisley.
And I am addicted to dresses.

Day 99: You've got 99 problems.

Well, right now I have a lot of things to say.
I have a lot of things I could say.
...not gonna.
Wanna know why?
I am better than you are.

I am happy.
I am strong.
I am social, and LOVE it.
I am going to get my ears pierced.
I like floral bathing suits.
I wear more than earth toned colors.
I don't like the lumberjack look.
I love sunglasses.
I am addicted to coffee.
I hate war-games.
I loved the Lord of the Rings for as long as I can remember.
I read Nicholas Sparks books.
I adore mushrooms.
I love green tea.
I don't respect Halo Reach.
I care about people.
I like nail polish.
I don't like heavy makeup.
I don't like marijuana.
I don't like Mountain Dew.
I don't think Butterfly Knives are impressive.
I like McDonalds fries.
I don't like rats.
I like sandals.

If you don't like that... then i'm glad you're out of my life.

Day 98: Simplify

As most of you can tell, my blog looks nothing like it did yesterday.
I decided to simplify it.
Not have so much going on.
Not be so busy.
Too many distractions.

I want to live this way.

We don't need 5 swimsuits.
More dresses than are countable.
A coffee everyday.
The same shirt in every color.
Chips, candy, icecream, and cookies.
Numerous belts.
Nailpolish.
50 eyeshadows.
Designer clothes.
The iPad that now has a camera, too!
10 headbands.
A flatscreen.
A bigger flatscreen.
Tivo.
A Nordstrom cardigan in almost every color they have to offer.
More than one pair of leggings.
More than one pair of jean shorts.

Almost all of these things, I have.
If you have them, that is great.
But don't be upset when you can't get it.
You don't need it.
Some people don't have shoes, or food for tomorrow.

Simplify.

"The less you own, the less that owns you."

Day 97: Craft Day

Today was a day of Ace Hardware and Shopko.
Today was a day of cracking my toenail in half and blood.
Today was a day of Aloe and Salt.
Today was a day of boyfriend and best friends.
Today was a day of wood and paint.
Today was a day of coffee and People magazines.
Today was a day of Regina Spektor and lack of food.
Today was a day of dizzy girl and nice boyfriend.
Today was a day of sweat droplets and red tarps.
Today was a day of painting and repainting.
Today was a day of stencils and blades.
Today was a day of coffee and fries.
Today was a day of pictures and flowers.

Today was a good day.

Day 96: Lakey Lakey Bo Bakey

Lake Lake Lake Lake Lake Lake Lake Lake Lake Lake Lake Lake Lake Lake Lake Lake Lake Lake Lake Lake Lake Lake Lake Lake Lake Lake

What's good about the lake?

HAPPINESS

What's bad about the lake?

FILTH

While we left smelling like BO and looking like something you find in a trash can downtown, we had a grand old time. I love my best fraans (Stub and Moot) <---made that up just now.

I HAVE THE CUTEST SECOND COUSINS IN ALL THE LAND.

Saturday, July 16, 2011

Day 95: Big wheels keep on turnin'.

Driving is a weird thing.
I like it, but it seems strange.
I am not used to being in the car and not speaking to anyone.
So what do I do?
I sing.
DUH.

I have also grown a new found respect for people with common sense.
Those without it?
......expecto patronum!
(Amanda and Russ, you proud uh-dat?)

Today while driving, I saw a teenage girl swerve on the road TRYING to hit an already dead squirrel. Hm, that's weird. She must have skipped the first grade. When we learned common sense. Bummer.
A few days ago, getting my usual coffee (obviously), a man parked aboooout 2 feet from a stop sign. Me, thinking that he was, ya know... stopping, I was waiting for him to go - when I watched him get out of his car, ad leave it. I looked him in the eyes and gave him one of these:
Had to go right around that big red truck. And not the good kind that save peoples' lives and houses, the kind that clueless rough-around-the-edges men drive. After my look (see above) he looked at me like he had never seen a human before, and went right on his way. Oooooooooooooh man.

I mean, is it that hard to just... be aware of your existence?

Day 94: 1, 2, 3, 4.. tell me that you love me more.

Woke up at 12:00.
Mmmm :)

SHOPPING SHOPPING SHOPPING...
I hate shopping.
Sometimes I think that I may not be a real girl.

Go play with Jenny, Stephy, and Austy!

Hi Tom!

I love driving.
I love having a functioning iPod.
I love the stars.
I love my friends.
I love my mom. (I think i'm looking more like her as I grow. I'm set for life at this rate.)
I love coffee.
I love muffins.
...that was a random one, I didn't even have a muffin today.

Day 93: Arry Pawter

Today was the midnight premier of HP72
(Harry Potter 7, Part 2)
I was in the movie theater from 8:00 PM - 2:30 AM
Whatagoodtime

Went to bed at 5:00 AM
Livin' the dream.

With hair like mine, Hermoine Granger was a must.
Our famous "Notebook Jump".
Love her more than anything. Pure Joy.
Snuck in a little Lord of the Rings. The one ring to rule them all, and "Frodo" and "Sam G." written close the heart.
Okay, this was just too precious not to show all my dweebs. I love them.

Thursday, July 14, 2011

Day 92: Losers Club

STEPH AND ALI ARE THE BIGGEST LOSERS ON THE PLANET IN ALL OF EXISTENCE.

I say this because we did nothing today until most peoples days are coming to a close.

From 11:30-7:30 we:
-Watched "The Glee Project"
-Listened to music
-Sang to each other while listening to music
-Acted out the songs we were listening to
-Ate BBQ wings
-Sang songs about her little brother
-Sang them loud enough for her little brother to hear
-Acted younger than her little brother

...as you can tell, most of those are aboooout the same thing.

7:30-11:00:
-Friend time (pheeeew)

...mmmm.

Day 91: T-Man

Today was a day with the boyf.
(Thomas C. Gavelin)

We went to the post office.
We went bridge jumping.
We went in his backyard and sang Justin Bieber and OneRepublic... at the same time.
He played the ukulele.
I ate salad.
He ate berries.
We went on a walk.
RAAAAIN.
We walked longer. (I kinda made him)
We got drenched.
We came back to his house. (looking like we just jumped in a lake)
He took me home.
I went to bed.
Taylor and Sami "prank" called me.
I accidentally called Tom in the middle of the night.

My day ends.

Day 90: 7/11

7/11
Free Slurpee Day
7.11 Oz.

Tom, Steph, Austy, Jackson, and I all hit up 4 different 7/11's.
Yes, we kinda cheated the system...

I am shamefaced.
...and slurpee happy.

Day 89: Ooookay, it's hot.

heat·stroke

 [heet-strohk]  Show IPA
–noun
a disturbance of the temperature-regulating mechanisms of thebody caused by overexposure to excessive heat resulting infever, hot and dry skin, and rapid pulse, sometimes progressingto delirium and coma.

.....sounds about right.

Holy melting flesh, Spokane Summer.
The heat today was outrageous.
Buuuuuut that brought bridge jumping, and park playing.

Dear Summer,
You know I love you. I won't even ever pretend that I don't. Just keep in mind that I have flesh I would like to keep cancer-less, and makeup i'd rather not sweat off. Thanks man.
Love Ali.
